What is a trade mark?

A trade mark is a “sign”, usually a brand name or logo, which is

used to distinguish the goods or services of one trader from those

of other traders. Examples are a brand of toothpaste or camera,

the trading name of a dry-cleaning business or fast food outlet, etc.
